Cancellations

We will issue a full refund for cancellations 10 days or more prior to arrival date with advanced notice. Due to the nature of our small business, we cannot issue a refund for cancellations made less than 9 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations made less than 9 days prior to arrival will be charged the full amount plus a $100 cancellation fee and a gift certificate will be issued for a future stay. No refunds will be issued for early departures.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in starts at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. We may be able to accommodate an earlier arrival if the room is available. Please contact us ahead of time if you would like to check-in before 4:00 pm.

We can accommodate late arrivals with advanced notice. Please contact us if you anticipate a late arrival and we will make arrangements to get you settled into your room.

Room Rates

All guest room rates are based on double occupancy and subject to 8% New York State sales tax and 4% Schuyler County occupancy tax.

Gift certificates are available for purchase here.

Breakfast

A homemade breakfast is served daily in the dining room starting at 9:00 am. Please let us know if anyone in your party has any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies at the time of booking.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the property out of courtesy to our guests and the environment.

Guest Parking

There is off-street parking conveniently located in front of the house for our guests (one parking space per room).

Children

Unless the entire house is booked, we cannot accept reservations for parties with children under the age of 14. 

Pets

Unfortunately, we cannot host your furry friends due to allergies, but our neighbors at Woodland Kennels can handle your pet accommodations. Click here for more information. We also have a friendly non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog (Hudson - Aussiedoodle) for all of your canine cuddling needs.

Burdett House Bed & Breakfast is committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of this website for all people with disabilities. We will continue to implement the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA), or such other standards as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). On a periodic basis, our website will be tested with assistive technology.
